What is an I-REC(E) Certificate?
An I-REC(E) (International Renewable Energy Certificate) is a digital document that certifies that 1 MWh of energy was generated from renewable sources.
What does "Redeem" mean?
To redeem a certificate means to "use" it officially. Once redeemed, it can no longer be sold - but you can say that your company consumes renewable energy.
What is "Custody"?
